Marco also worked on the Beyond the Banks programme, which aimed at identifying new ways to get finance flowing to the best SMEs.
Prior to Nesta, Marco worked for OmniCompete, managing the execution of prize competitions in a wide range of sectors for both the public sector and industry.
Marco also worked for the Enterprise Europe Network (EU Commission – DG Enterprise and Industry) within the London Chamber of Commerce where he provided advice to SMEs on EU issues and opportunities.
Marco completed his BSc and MSc in Economics and Management in Italy and holds an MSc in European Political Economy from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
