Founded in September 1997 as a non-governmental organization, Social Change School is the international Leader in Nonprofit managerial professional training and Certification, through its International Masters, completely delivered in English

From 1997:

  • More than 1300 professionals and managers trained in yearly programmes, now professionals and managers in some of the most important NGOs in the world;  
  • An employment rate in the sector higher than 80% for its graduates within one year from the Diploma, 50% of which hired after the internship;
  • To this day, 40% of non-European fellows, particularly from Africa, South America, Middle East, Asia;
  • The teaching staff, more than 100 professionals, consists of managers of the sector coming from the best NGOs and sharing the project and commitment of the School;
  • Only 2% drop-out rate;
  • Internship programme abroad at no cost, in Africa, Asia and South America;
  • Paid internship programme of two months;
  • Social Talent Scholarship programmeand financial aids of 200.000 euro, with partial coverage scholarships up to 3000 euro;
  • Payments up to 12 instalments without interest;
  • 100.000 hours of yearly training;
  • An Alumni community of 400 active members worldwide;
  • Fellows’ presence in all continents and in almost every country in the world;
  • Activities and international offices in Madrid, Rome, Brussels, Edinburgh Beirut, Brindisi;
  • Among the main partners in planning, for field experiences, internships and job placement: UNHRD, Save the Children, Intersos, MSF, Action Aid, Plan International,, Euclid Network, ACOSVO, Water Aid, COOPI, Cesvi, Amref, CCM, Peter Pan, Mission Bambini, AiBi and more than 200 smaller organizations worldwide;
  • Many published specialized titles

PMC-Project Management for International Cooperation and Local Development (since 1998)

HOPE-Humanitarian Operation in Emergencies (since 2014)

FRAME-Fundraising, Cultural Philanthropy & Advancement (since 1999 – Certificated by EFA)

Full e-learning Master, 800 hours, one year, certificate- only e-learning.

MIDHA-Management of International Development and Humanitarian Aid (2017)- full e-learning executive programme reserved for those who have already been working in the sector for at least 3 years.  

Masters are co-managed with NGOs of the sector, developing the professional profiles based on the required standards.

Our partnerships with the NGOs have strengthened and extended to the whole world also thanks to the network of fellows, and it’s thanks to this network that the School is now planning on opening offices in Africa and South America by 2018/2019, in Asia and Australia in 2019/2020.

Masters also stand out for some concrete services, such as:

  • In-class workshop, compatible with the needs of people who work;
  • E-learning;
  • Real group Project Work;
  • Possibility to have a field experience of 2-3 months in Africa or outside of Europe at no additional cost;
  • Career Development Service – an internship in the country of residence or abroad is included in the cost of the Master, as well as job matching support through preferential channels with the NGOs;
  • Management Development (public speaking, conflict management, time management, team management, general management).

The School is the only one in Europe awarding a Certificate of Competences that doesn’t just prove the attendance to a course, but the actual competences specific to the sector on the fields of Project Management for Development and Fundraising. The economic/financial management part of project management is studied very thoroughly. The Certification Committee is independent and composed of credited professionals.
