Do you have experience in training or the humanitarian sector and a passion for education? The Social Change School is looking for a part-time Didactic Coordinator. In this role, you’ll help shape the learning experience of future humanitarian professionals by managing training activities online and in-person. You’ll work remotely with occasional travel to workshops in Rome, contributing around 50 hours per month. The role begins in October 2025 and runs through early 2027.

Job Description
As the Master Didactic Coordinator, you’ll oversee all academic aspects of the Master programme. Your work will directly support both our teaching staff and students, ensuring a consistent, high-quality training experience across online and in-person modules. You’ll manage platform activity, monitor academic progress, organise workshops, and coach student teams through their project work. Full onboarding, coaching, and training will be provided during the initial phase.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating all didactic activities of the Master programme
- Managing the virtual classroom and tutoring students online
- Handling the e-learning platform: content upload, chat/forums, and notifications
- Organising face-to-face workshops in Rome and Madrid
- Providing in-person classroom tutoring when required
- Monitoring progress and generating reports on student learning
- Supporting students’ project work and team coordination
- Maintaining contact with teachers and managing workshop logistics
What You Should Know
You’ll use your background in education, project management, or the humanitarian field to support the Master programme and its participants. Your ability to coordinate activities, communicate clearly, and maintain high standards will be key to the success of the learning process. To thrive in this role, you’ll also need a structured mindset and strong ownership skills to manage complex didactic processes and align multiple actors—teachers, students, and internal staff.
Essential qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Education, Social Sciences, Economics, or similar
- Experience in training or in the humanitarian/NGO sector
- Advanced English (C1 level)
- Skilled in Office tools, especially Excel and online research
- Ability to travel monthly for 3–4 day workshops in Rome or Madrid
- Practice with AI tools in educational or project settings
- Able to prepare basic budgets in Excel
