Master HOPE in Humanitarian Operations in Emergencies: final day!

The first edition of HOPE- Master In Humanitarian Operations in Emergencies Managing Projects, People, Administration & Logistic in the field ended at Intersos headquarters last Saturday, 14 November 2015.

It was the perfect time to take stock of this year and think about very next projects.

The day started with the presentation of the students’ personal projects, with eight of them at Intersos headquarters, while one via Skype as she is currently based in Paris. These projects, presented before an evaluation Committee, were of great worth, from a theoretical and practical point of view; they all stood out for the students’ solid previous experiences combined with training and skills gained during the Master.

The handing out of diplomas was the most touching moment, as every student shared their thoughts about their master experience and took the chance to thank their colleagues. Nevertheless, this was a further moment of cohesion among the students, who did not consider this day as the end of a period, but the beginning of a wonderful professional career.

What really made students and ASVI Social Change very proud, was hearing that the research project on Syrian refugees by Giovanni Bochi will be published by the end of this year.

So… Good luck Master HOPE pioneers!
