Didactic Structure of the Master:

  • 1000 hours, 9 months: Didactic Common Path + 3 months Career Development Service

LECTURERS: all the lecturers are professionals and managers working in the main humanitarian and development organizations and NGOs in Europe.

What is the Field Training Period (FTP)?

The Field Training Period (FTP) of the HOPE Master – Humanitarian Operations in Emergencies is a field placement that allows you to put the skills you have acquired into practice, working with NGOs and humanitarian organisations operating in emergency contexts. It is a highly recommended experience to strengthen your CV and build your professional network in the humanitarian sector. The placement is usually unpaid, but the school reimburses travel, accommodation and visa expenses up to €1,200. It preferably takes place abroad, in Africa, Asia or Latin America, but it can also be carried out in your home country if it is relevant to the Master’s programme.

What is the mission of the Career Development Service (CDS)?

The Career Development Service (CDS) supports students in building a career in humanitarian emergencies and the social change sector, creating direct contact with NGOs and Third Sector organisations. It offers practical tools to enhance your personal branding, build a career strategy and navigate the job market in humanitarian operations.

Are early bird rates or other discounts available?

The HOPE Master – Humanitarian Operations in Emergencies lets you choose the payment option that suits you best, with a discount either way.
If you pay in a single instalment, you get a 17% discount on the full cost of the Master.
If you prefer to pay in instalments, you get a 10% discount: you pay a €2,700 deposit and split the rest into 2 to 13 monthly instalments, with no interest or administrative fees.
