{"id":38329,"date":"2017-10-04T10:47:09","date_gmt":"2017-10-04T10:47:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/socialchangeschool.org\/04\/10\/2017\/field-experience-in-lebanon-pmc-students-thoughts-and-impressions\/"},"modified":"2017-10-04T10:47:09","modified_gmt":"2017-10-04T10:47:09","slug":"field-experience-in-lebanon-pmc-students-thoughts-and-impressions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/it\/04\/10\/2017\/field-experience-in-lebanon-pmc-students-thoughts-and-impressions\/","title":{"rendered":"Field Experience in Lebanon: PMC students&#8217; thoughts and feelings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">During the weeks of the 11th and 18th September, our <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/master\/master-in-project-management-international-cooperation-local-development\/\">PMC\u00a0\u2013\u00a0Master in Project Management for International Cooperation, Euro-Project Management and Local Development<\/a> <\/strong>students were busy with their<strong> Field Experiences in Beirut and<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Tyre, Lebanon.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The students had the chance to meet and work on real projects with many stakeholders: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intersos.org\/\"><strong>INTERSOS<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.undp.org\/\"><strong>UNDP<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldbank.org\/\"><strong>World Bank<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/uotm.org\/?p=11028\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Union of Tyre Municipalities<\/a>, <\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.terredeshommes.org\/\"><strong>Terre des Hommes<\/strong><\/a>,<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/drc.ngo\/\">Danish Refugee Council<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and other Lebanese associations. They could visit the field and see from up close Project Management and International Cooperation techniques and strategies, as well as getting in contact with a new reality and culture.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_32007\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-32007\" style=\"width: 885px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/tyre2.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-32007\" src=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/tyre2-1024x376.png\" alt=\"tyre\" width=\"885\" height=\"325\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-32007\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Union of Tyre Municipalities talking about the Field Experience with the Social Change School on their <a href=\"https:\/\/uotm.org\/?p=11028\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">website<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The field experience was successful in terms of <strong>satisfaction<\/strong>, and of the\u00a0<strong>competences acquired<\/strong>.\u00a0 The students also felt that it positively enhanced their <strong>personal and professional development<\/strong>.
