The experience was coordinated by the <strong>Master\u2019s Director\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/it\/faculty\/lodovico-mariani\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lodovico Mariani<\/a><\/strong>, along with two <strong>trainers from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.intersos.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">INTERSOS<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; <strong>Davide Berruti<\/strong> and <strong>Leonardo<\/strong> <strong>Palma<\/strong>, they were also accompanied by the\u00a0<strong>Master\u2019s Coordinator<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/it\/faculty\/susana-ferreira\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Susana Ferreira<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>Corinna Vulpiani<\/strong> (INTERSOS).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Those were three very intense days, during which the students stepped into a <strong>simulation on a humanitarian emergency<\/strong>, in order to put the knowledge and skills acquired during the course into practice. They had to face a variety of different and challenging situations while <strong>implementing a humanitarian response.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">According to the students, the field experience allowed them to <strong>become aware of the reality and acquire more knowledge<\/strong>, by testing and putting them under pressing situations. The general feeling in the end was that the team work also allowed the group to be <strong>more bounded as a group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"  wp-image-31966 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/21768245_1625597544157618_6202889630337825605_n.jpg\" alt=\"21768245_1625597544157618_6202889630337825605_n\" width=\"276\" height=\"276\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">For Giulia Madau, one of the students taking part in the experience:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cIt was quite interesting, completely <strong>unexpected<\/strong>, so everything was literally <strong>spontaneous<\/strong>. It was quite <strong>challenging<\/strong> and it was a good way to prove to ourselves what was the knowledge that we acquired during the Master and what we are able to put in place in order to work in a humanitarian operation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/22008404_1627384097312296_9136820017806689585_n-1-e1507109837692.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-31967 \" src=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/it\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/10\/22008404_1627384097312296_9136820017806689585_n-1-e1507109837692.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"351\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">And Gabriele Mitrani, another HOPE student also stressed the importance of learning through a simulation:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u201cIt was a very good experience. I am very happy.
