His professional career developed on two tracks:\u00a0<\/p><ul><li><strong>Management<\/strong> \u2013 mainly with NGOs. In the field and in the HQs. And also both in operational (logistics, programme support) and support positions (e.g. HR, admin);\u00a0<\/li><li><strong>Training<\/strong> \u2013 both for experienced and entry level professionals.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><p>He has a Political Science degree \u2013 <strong>for the past 15 years he worked in areas of crisis and conflict, such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, South Sudan, Iraq, Sri Lanka and Philippines<\/strong>. He also worked on social issues in his own country, Italy.\u00a0<\/p><p>He teaches Project Cycle Management in Emergencies, Result Based Management, Humanitarian Finance and Logistic and Security Management in various training schools and universities.\u00a0<\/p><p>He worked as<strong> Human Resources and Training Expert<\/strong> at <strong>INTERSOS<\/strong>; based in Rome with missions in the countries of intervention. For the same NGO served as <strong>Country Representative in Iraq and Afghanistan<\/strong>, and then as <strong>Area Administrator for Asia and Middle East<\/strong>. He worked also as <strong>Finance and Administrative Director<\/strong> of <strong>AMREF Health Africa Italia<\/strong>.
