Graduated in Law at the Complutense University in Madrid, she has a Masters Degree in International Development and Project Management, as well as several specialization degrees in Gender Issues.<\/p><p>She began her professional career in <strong>Mauritania<\/strong> and since then she has been <strong>working in the field for the last 17 years<\/strong> based in <strong>DRC, Rwanda, Algeria, Palestine, Guatemala, Spain, and Senegal<\/strong>.<\/p><p>She has been jumping from <strong>Humanitarian interventions<\/strong> to the <strong>Development<\/strong> sector and <strong>Migration<\/strong> related activities, mainly within the<strong> International NGO Sector<\/strong> but also with the <strong>Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs \u2013 Cooperation Department<\/strong> in <strong>Palestine<\/strong> as well as coordinating the United National Volunteer program in <strong>Guatemala<\/strong>.<\/p><p>At the moment, she is Director of International Programmes at Plan international Spain.<\/p><p>Throughout the years, Elisa has gained a good knowledge of <strong>project formulation, team management, evaluation techniques and practices<\/strong> as well as how to integrate <strong>gender responsive initiatives and gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, risk mitigation and response interventions<\/strong> into the different programs.<\/p><p>From a personal point of view, Elisa likes to consider herself a passionate person, responsible, dynamic, capable of resolving operational problems, friendly, very used to working in multicultural environments and characters, and capable of withstanding changing environments and stress situations.<\/p><p>She loves reading, traveling and hanging out with friends.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elisa Paz Director of Master in Project Management for International Development and Humanitarian Aid Elisa Paz was born in Madrid.
