Marco Crescenzi<\/strong> is the founder and President of the Social Change School<\/b><\/a> (formerly ASVI – Agency for the Development of Nonprofits, 1997).<\/p>\n

A member of the National Council of WWF<\/strong> Italy (2023) for development strategy support.<\/p>\n

Since 2021, he has been the Coordinator of leader4future \u2013 the network of General Directors <\/strong>of the Italian Third Sector (2021 – Present).<\/p>\n

Since 2025, he has been the creator of Space T, Talent Intelligence and Acquisition Lab<\/strong>, a specialized, high-tech, AI-based facility for increasing the quality and well-being of people in the Third Sector.<\/p>\n

Since 2025, he has been the creator of Leading Together \u2013 Women Leadership Program<\/strong>me, which aims to increase over 50% of women in general management positions (CEOs) in the Third Sector in Europe by 2030.<\/p>\n

Marco privately practices organizational well-being planning and management coaching based on a collaborative management and collective intelligence model (Smart Coaching) and has been practicing as a Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapist<\/strong> since 1994. He has worked with leading Italian NGOs.<\/p>\n

In 1998, he introduced e-learning <\/strong>to the nonprofit sector in Italy, wrote the first book in Europe on nonprofit management (Il Manager del Non Profit, 1998, Mondadori),  in 2010 introduced the Social Innovation<\/strong> issue (with Filippo Addarii’s London group and I-SIN – Italian Social Innovation Network), and since 2023, he has introduced AI<\/strong> to the third sector in 2022-2024<\/p>\n

Marco Crescenzi is specialized in 1987 in Social Psychology with Experimental Address, he worked in the late 80\u2019s with the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Rome. He has been practicing as a Cognitive-Behavioural Psychotherapist since the 90\u2019s (registered as a psychologist-psychotherapist since 1992) and has made his professionalism available to the Social Change School for the co-design of the didactic processes and the personal managerial development of the students.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Founder and president of the Social Change School (since 1997), a leading international school for non-profit management, he has followed thousands of professional and managerial development paths in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America.<\/p>\n

Since 1998, he has authored a dozen specialist and popular publications, and writes for the Ilfattoquotidiano blog, Huffinghton post and Blog4Change.<\/p>\n

He is recognized in Europe as one of the most influential personalities of the Third Sector<\/strong>. He lives between Italy and Spain, has three children in their twenties, loves tennis, running, prosecco and good food.<\/p>\n

Marco was also co-founder and board member of Euclid Network \u2013 Third Sector Leaders Association (London\/Paris 2006), founder and President of Leader2Leader \u2013 Network of Italian Nonprofit Managers (2008), and of Symbola-Fondazione per le Qualita\u2019 Italiane. He began his career in the nonprofit sector as an activist, founding a social and environmental organization in Rome in 1980\u2026
Since 2012 he has been writing on the blogs of Il Fatto Quotidiano )the leading blog in Italy), n the Huffington Post, on Impresa Sociale and Vita Non Pofit.<\/p>\n

He currently lives between Madrid (since 2015), and Rome (hometown), after living in London (2007-2014).<\/p>\n

Specialized in 1987 in Social Psychology with Experimental Address, he collaborated in the late 80\u2019s with the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Rome. He practiced as a Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapist in the 90s and then put these skills also at the disposal of the Social Change School for the co-design of teaching processes and personal development management of students.<\/p>\n

He has always been involved in the commitment to social improvement<\/strong> \u2013 first as a political activist and student representative at the Liceo Classico, in the management of Voluntary Associations (environmental-cultural), as a Manager (editorial and for cultural promotion) and then as an Entrepreneur (early \u201990s, enterprise \u2018green-economy\u2019 in strong continuity with the environmentalist commitment).<\/p>\n

In collaboration with Titti Carta (the main expert on Italian artistic craftsmanship) he worked for the entrepreneurial promotion of this sector during the 80s and early 90s<\/strong> as director of the company \u2018L\u2019Arte del Quotidiano\u2019, of the magazine \u2018Artigianato tra Arte e Design\u2019, and of the project \u2018La Seduzione degli Oggetti-Annuario dell\u2019artigiano italiano\u2019 (B. Mondadori ed. 1996).<\/p>\n

In 1997 he founded \u2018ASVI \u2013 Agenzia per lo Sviluppo del Nonproft\u2019 (since 2016 Social Change School), introduced e-learning for nonprofit in Europe (in 1998-99 the first \u2018blended formula\u2019 Masters in Management and Fundraising, the first books on Nonprofit Management).<\/p>\n

From 2004 to 2008 he collaborated with Symbola Foundation \u2013 for Italian Qualities, with Ermete Realacci (Founder Legambiente), Domenico De Masi (Sociologist of Labour) and Alessandro Profumo (past President Unicredit).<\/p>\n

He coordinated the \u201cObservatory for Professions and Work in the Non-Profit Sector\u201d (2003-2008 \u2013 with the Ministry of Labour, Alma Laurea, Forum of the Third Sector, Trade Unions, and other representatives), becoming the main point of reference for the Italian media on issues of work in the Third Sector.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Internationally, during his time in London, he co-founded the Euclid Network \u2013 Association of European Non Profit Managers<\/strong> (2006), Leader2Leader \u2013 the network of Italian non profit managers (2008-2010).
co-founded I-SIN- Italian Social Innovation Network (2011), and the Social Change School based in Madrid. Currently, for the School, he has a significant focus on the professional development of the Third Sector in English-speaking Africa.<\/p>\n

As a journalist he has been committed in the \u201990s to the divulgation of Italian artistic craftsmanship and since 2010 to the promotion of the Third Sector and Social Innovation.<\/strong>
His blogs on the Third Sector and Social Innovation on Il Fatto Quotidiano and the Huffington Post are also appreciated by a non-specialized audience.<\/p>\n
