Fairtrade Italia \u00e8 un consorzio senza scopo di lucro nato nel 1994 per diffondere nella grande distribuzione i prodotti del mercato equo e fa parte di FLO (Fairtrade Labelling Organizations International), federazione internazionale dei marchi di garanzia del commercio equo e solidale. Il marchio Fairtrade, attraverso un sistema di certificazione internazionale, garantisce che i prodotti con il suo simbolo, che trovi nel tuo supermercato, nelle Botteghe del Mondo, nei distributori automatici e in altri luoghi di ristorazione siano stati lavorati senza causare sfruttamento e povert\u00e0 in Asia, Africa, America Latina e siano stati acquistati secondo i criteri del <strong>Commercio Equo e Solidale<\/strong>.
