He does so through the exhibition of <strong>international research<\/strong> of great interest and a more strictly <strong>managerial final analysis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><br \/>In a hyper-connected but often unproductive &#8220;burnout society&#8221;, with redundant processes that reduce working times, with the need of being more effective, with problems &#8211; especially for women &#8211; of double work and family load, and millions of people unemployed, the old model of the &#8220;eight hours&#8221; seems a residue of the past.<\/p>\n<p>The paper deals with the <strong>theme of work<\/strong> from different perspectives. While they might seem incompatible, in the end, they all converge fully: from an <strong>existential perspective<\/strong> (too many hours), to <strong>sociological research<\/strong> (international experiences on work\/productivity) to a <strong>managerial<\/strong> one (how to work less but more effectively).<\/p>\n<p><br \/>In the end, the <strong>stimulus<\/strong> launched by Marco Crescenzi to managers and HRMs in the sector, as well as to all the workers in the Third Sector, is: &#8220;<em>The non-profit must be an example to overcome the intoxicating &#8220;smart working&#8221;
