The workshop took place from the 11<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0to the 14<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of December and was led by\u00a0<strong>Christopher Devlin<\/strong>,\u00a0Institutional Fundraising Division Head at <span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.terredeshommes.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Terre des Hommes<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/12\/2copia.jpeg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/12\/2copia.jpeg\" alt=\"About our days in Brussels with PMC fellows: Europroject Management and European Commission\" width=\"490\" height=\"302\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-31937\" \/><\/a>The cycle of workshops started with a focus on\u00a0<strong>Europroject Management<\/strong>, with the lecturer talking about the <strong>EU funding system<\/strong> and how to find the proper <strong>call for proposal<\/strong> for a project and write a winning proposal; the lecturer went through fundamental topics like European policy, funding system and the analysis of a call for proposal. <br \/>The following day, Devlin presented <strong>Partnership Management<\/strong> to the fellows, and described how to build a winning partnership. The lecturer concentrated on how to build and manage an international partnership and how to do a teaming agreement.<br \/>On the third day, the focus moved to\u00a0<strong>The Budget of a European Project<\/strong> and had as a main objective that of knowing the basic concepts and techniques of project budgeting, in particular an EU budget.<\/p>\n<p>The last day in Brussels was spent visiting the European Commission, where fellows participated first to a meeting <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/12\/4.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/12\/4.jpeg\" alt=\"About our days in Brussels with PMC fellows: Europroject Management and European Commission\" width=\"490\" height=\"276\" class=\"alignright wp-image-31938\" \/><\/a>about\u00a0<strong>The European Commission: the political executive of the European Union <\/strong>with\u00a0<strong>Dr Bela Beres<\/strong>, from Legal Service, then to the meeting\u00a0<strong>Humanitarian Aid And Civil Protection <\/strong>with\u00a0<strong>Mr Michal Lacza<\/strong>, from the Directorate-General for Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO), and finally to\u00a0<strong>The EU&#8217;s Development policy<\/strong>, a meeting with\u00a0<strong>Mr Antonio Carlos Teixeira<\/strong>, from the Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development.<br \/>The day ended with a visit of the <strong>Berlaymont building<\/strong>, accompanied by Dr Bela Beres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cinzia D\u2019Intino<\/strong>, <strong>Head of Didactics and Master Coordinator<\/strong> believes that \u201cChristopher Devlin\u2019s experience certainly constituted a great added value for the workshop.
