Masters in <strong>Project Management (PMC)<\/strong>, in <strong>Fundraising Management (FRAME)<\/strong> and in <strong>Humanitarian Operations in Emergencies (HOPE)<\/strong> fellows met our lecturers <strong>Alfonso Basco<\/strong> and <strong>Diego Battistessa<\/strong>, <strong>the Head of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/didattica\/career-development\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Career Development Service<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/faculty\/tirso-puig-de-la-bellacasa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tirso Puig<\/a><\/strong> and <strong>Social Change School\u2019s President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/faculty\/marco-crescenzi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Marco Crescenzi<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On the first day, <strong>Alfonso Basco<\/strong> helped students understand the meaning and importance of <strong>self-effectiveness and assertiveness <\/strong>at work and in a team. The lecturer was really impressed by the group of students, admiring their <strong>proactivity, participation and interest<\/strong> in the topics at hand. Fellows were also very happy with Basco, appreciating his positive, empathic and passionate attitude as well as the practical exercises the lecturer had prepared for them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/06\/collage2-e1530191283969.jpeg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-31476\" src=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2018\/06\/collage2-e1530191283969.jpeg\" alt=\"Everybody in Madrid for a workshop about Management and Leadership Development\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>On the 22<sup>nd<\/sup> of June, Social Change School\u2019s <strong>President Marco Crescenzi<\/strong> held a lecture on <strong>Public Speaking<\/strong>, explaining what communication is, why we are sometimes misunderstood, how to prepare for a public speech and leaving some time for students to practice together during a laboratory.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The workshop on <strong>Conflict Negotiation<\/strong> was held on the 23<sup>rd<\/sup> of June by the School\u2019s lecturer and adviser <strong>Diego Battistessa<\/strong>. With him, fellows learnt how to classify the typical conflict situations at work and how to manage them in a positive way. Students found the lesson very interesting and greatly appreciated the <strong>practical exercises<\/strong> they were invited to perform by Battistessa.<br \/> In the afternoon of the same day, Marco Crescenzi was back in class to talk about <strong>Non Profit Management <\/strong>with students, giving them the opportunity to share their views, thus creating a <strong>stimulating debate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">During the last day of workshop, <strong>Tirso Puig<\/strong> introduced the work of <strong>Career Development Service<\/strong> and the <strong>right attitude<\/strong> students should have to go through it, dedicating a good part of the day to a laboratory on the <strong>personal SWOT and personal development plan <\/strong>of each student. Fellows were enthralled by the topic and the lecturer\u2019s way of communicating and explaining the subjects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Overall, <strong>fellows demonstrated great proactivity<\/strong>, which was noticed and appreciated by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/faculty\/cinzia-dintino\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cinzia D\u2019Intino<\/a>, the Head of Didactics<\/strong>: \u201cWe are very <strong>satisfied with the entire group of students<\/strong>, as we have received extremely positive feedbacks from their lecturers, who have noticed the <strong>high quality of participants<\/strong>, both in terms of <strong>participation and preparation<\/strong>.
