From the\u00a021st to the 24th of February 2018, our\u00a0Master FRAME –\u00a0Fundraising Management in the NGOs<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0fellows took part to a\u00a0Field Experience in Torino<\/strong>, with\u00a0Circolo dei Lettori Foundation<\/strong><\/a>. Students attended a 4-day\u00a0experience in\u00a0the\u00a0Non-Profit Organization’s headquarters, to implement a Fundraising Plan with\u00a0the\u00a0organization’s board, project stakeholders and fundraising donors, in collaboration with Circolo dei Lettori\u00a0Foundation\u00a0of Torino.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Fundraising\u00a0experience was coordinated by\u00a0Giampiero Giacomel<\/a><\/strong>, former student and currently Senior Adviser for Social Change School\u2019s Master FRAME, and Head of Individual Giving at\u00a0Scottish Opera<\/a>. \"Field<\/a>Our Senior Adviser also ran a preliminary\u00a0fundraising training<\/strong>\u00a0for staff members and students on how to\u00a0convert service users into donors for art and culture<\/strong>. This training gave students the chance to better engage with the Foundation\u2019s staff members.<\/p>\n

During the Field Experience, students had the chance to plan and implement a response\u00a0Fundraising plan<\/strong>, manage the\u00a0relation with donors<\/strong>\u00a0and a\u00a0fundraising event<\/strong>, knowing the key steps required to\u00a0launch and join a fundraising campaign<\/strong>\u00a0and the key aims, functions and\u00a0responsibilities of a fundraising team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Students were extremely satisfied with the experience, especially for having the possibility to put what they had studied into practice<\/strong>. Fellows particularly enjoyed \u201cthe creation and the application of the fundraising strategy\u201d and the opportunity they had to \u201celaborate a complete Case for Support, Ethic Code and Fundraising Plan<\/strong> from zero for a wonderful organization\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
