{"id":2504,"date":"2017-01-17T10:52:24","date_gmt":"2017-01-17T10:52:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/socialchangeschool.org\/2017\/01\/workshop-in-fundraising-forms-techniques-how-to-teach-others-the-joy-of-donating\/"},"modified":"2024-03-18T14:20:32","modified_gmt":"2024-03-18T14:20:32","slug":"workshop-in-fundraising-forms-techniques-how-to-teach-others-the-joy-of-donating","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/17\/01\/2017\/workshop-in-fundraising-forms-techniques-how-to-teach-others-the-joy-of-donating\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop in Fundraising Forms &#038; Techniques \u2013 How to teach others the joy of donating"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sunday 18th of December in Rome, was the last day of \u00a0the <strong>Workshop in FUNDRAISING FORMS &amp; TECHNIQUES<\/strong> for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/master\/master-in-fundraising-management-comunication-marketing-campaigning\/\">Master\u00a0FRAME \u2013 Master in FundRaising Management, in NGO\u2019s Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Social Media, Campaigns<\/a> held by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/silvia-victoria-ronza-1452b71\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Silvia Ronza <\/a>\u2013 Lega del Filo d\u2019Oro, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/faculty\/carla-cardelli\/\">Carla Cardelli <\/a>\u2013 Libera, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/docenti\/giancarla-pancione\/\">Giancarla Pancione<\/a> \u2013 Save the Children Italia, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/docenti\/marica-fachin\/\">Marica Fachin<\/a> \u2013 Greenpeace, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/veronicamanna\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Veronica Manna<\/a> \u2013 NonProfit Factory.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201c<strong>Fundraising is the art of teaching others the joy of donating<\/strong>\u201d this famous sentence by Henry Rosso, quoted during the lesson of Community Fundraising lead by Veronica Manna, former student and now consultant of the Social Change School, closed the third day of workshop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The students have achieved important <strong>formative objectives<\/strong>, they have, in fact, acquired the main theoretical and practical schemes of the fundraising techniques:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The \u201c<strong>Legacy Fundraising<\/strong>\u201d, very important theme, in strong growth in Italy as confirmed by Eurisko&#8217;s studies, it show a 55% growth in the bequests for the non profit organisations over the past 4 years;<\/li>\n<li>The \u201c<strong>Corporate Fundraising<\/strong>\u201d, fundraising with enterprises, a fascinating theme, and always in the centre of novelties respect to the Corporate Social \u00a0Responsibility (CSR);<\/li>\n<li>The role of <strong>individual donors<\/strong>, from the one-off donor to the major donor;<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;<strong>Digital Fundraising<\/strong>&#8221; and the close bond with communication, fundraising through online channels, social networks and crowdfunding,<\/li>\n<li>The &#8220;<strong>Community Fundraising<\/strong>&#8221; closes the circle and receives the influences of all the other techniques for the nurturing of a community, based on trust, for fundraising dedicated to specific community projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to better learn the different sectors of fundraising, we stepped\u00a0 into the analysis of the best campaigns of national and international organisation, to the practice, with laboratories in class.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Many tools, laboratories and analysis of \u2018case studies\u2019 were carried out during the workshop. To be underlined, the added value of the experiences of the professionals who lectured during the 3 days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following the programme of the 3 days:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Day 1.\u00a0<strong>Legacy Fundraising. Corporate Fundraising<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Day 2.<strong> Individual Giving<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Day 3. <strong>Digital Fundraising. Community Fundraising.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, to complete the cycle of the Fundraising Project Management within an organization, the participants had the chance to verify \u00a0with practical examples and suitable tools, the processes of the management of an individual donor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finally, the didactic path ended with the presentation of what will be their <strong>\u201cProject Work\u201d<\/strong>, the project on which they will work on for the final Master exam, and that will see them involved at first hand, with the identification and formulation of their own project idea.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sunday 18th of December in Rome, was the last day of \u00a0the Workshop in FUNDRAISING FORMS &amp;
