At the end of the master a \u201cJob Interview\u201d<\/strong>, is one of the many important \u201cchallenges\u201d to overcome within the masters programme curriculum.<\/p>\n

The challenges\u00a0are specific exercises aimed at improving the student\u2019s personal and professional competences, through a direct experience on the field, outside the safe environment of the classroom.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n

The objectives of the Job Interview Challenge\u00a0<\/strong>are: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Learning how to have a selection interview for a position in the non-profit sector<\/strong>, dealing with a recruiter specialised in the non-profit sector- the HRM Manager of a NGO or a professional from the sector.<\/li>\n
  2. Improving the impact and effectiveness of the personal presentation<\/strong>: CV, Cover Letter, LinkedIn profile.<\/li>\n
  3. Acquiring a major awareness<\/strong> and self-confidence.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Different steps compose the Job Interview, a strong assumption of responsibility by the student in terms of challenge<\/strong> is essential. Each student, after receiving clear guidelines and formats will have to fill in:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • CV<\/strong> following the model provided by Social Change School;<\/li>\n
    • Cover letter<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Go through the personal LinkedIn profile<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      During the interview, different dimension will be looked into:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • The transversal competences of the student<\/li>\n
      • The modalities of presentation of the profile and focus on future professional objectives and the \u201cCareer Plan\u201d<\/li>\n
      • The attitude\/behaviour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        After the interview, the HRM will fill in and send a report, containing the evaluation<\/strong> and suggestions for improvement<\/strong> for each individual student.<\/p>\n

        During the latest edition, the following organisations have collaborated with us by helding the interviews with our students: FairTrade Italia, INTERSOS, Emergency, CUAMM, CEFA, DIESIS, CESVI, ENGIM, Peter Pan Onlus, Soleterre Onlus, We World Onlus, L\u2019Africa Chiama Onlus and many other organisations from the sector.<\/p>\n
