{"id":2480,"date":"2016-11-09T08:26:26","date_gmt":"2016-11-09T08:26:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/socialchangeschool.org\/2016\/11\/workshop-in-advanced-project-management-techniques\/"},"modified":"2024-03-18T14:20:48","modified_gmt":"2024-03-18T14:20:48","slug":"workshop-in-advanced-project-management-techniques","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/09\/11\/2016\/workshop-in-advanced-project-management-techniques\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop in Advanced Project Management Techniques"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From the 21st until the 23rd of October 2016, the students of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/master\/master-in-project-management-international-cooperation-local-development\/\">PMC Master- in Project Management for International Cooperation, Euro-Project Management and Local Development<\/a><\/strong>, June 2016 edition, took part at 3 days of Workshop focused on the application of the Project Cycle Management.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With the\u00a0lecturer\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/docenti\/andrea-stroppiana\/\">Andrea Stroppiana<\/a><\/strong>, Project Manager and <strong>consultant for national bodies and international partners for projects of the European Union, <\/strong>and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/faculty\/cinzia-dintino\/\">Cinzia D\u2019Intino,<\/a> <\/strong>Master Coordinator.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The fist day started with the presentation of the video \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/albordedelcaos.com\/2014\/09\/01\/alla-vamos-otra-vez-gran-video-sobre-el-desarrollo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">All\u00e1 vamos, otra vez<\/a>\u201d to introduce <strong>the failures in the international cooperation. This generated an interesting interchange<\/strong> between students and lecturer on their own professional experiences related to the topic of the video.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They then proceeded with the stage of identification of the project cycle: <strong>entity, stakeholders analysis and introduction to problems analysis.<\/strong> In the problems analysis the difference between well-formulated problems and missing solution\/tool was made. At the stage of <strong>objectives analysis<\/strong>, students could ask questions and A. Stroppiana, shared his own professional experiences<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Logical Framework \u201cBy Results<\/strong>\u201d was the main \u00a0topic of the second day. In that session as well, students were engaged in a group laboratory: each group built its own LF starting by a chosen entity. In this way, they\u00a0could apply theory to a practical project example.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the third day, the \u201c<strong>risks and obstacles for the startup of a development project<\/strong>\u201d were examined, with practical applications and projects analysis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Finally, \u00a0our students didn&#8217;t miss the chance to ask Andrea Stroppiana about suggestions on their professional path within the development sector, who also gave a short hint to the <strong>New Logical Framework<\/strong>, topic that we will discuss on <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.socialchangeschool.org\/en\/blog4change\/\">Blog4Change<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2026Waiting for the next workshop!<\/p>\n<p>#Working4SocialChange<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the 21st until the 23rd of October 2016, the students of the PMC Master- in Project Management for International Cooperation, Euro-Project Management and Local Development, June 2016 edition, took part at 3 days of Workshop focused on the application of the Project Cycle Management.
