FRM \u2013 Fundraising Management<\/a> master students- December 2015 edition, started their one year-long journey in fundraising, testing themselves with the first techniques and the first practical tools,<\/strong> on 26 – 28 February 2016.<\/p>\n

Anna Maria Cinelli and Mariagrazia Smiraglia from Medecins Sans Frontieres,<\/a> Giancarla Pancione from\u00a0Save the Children,<\/a>\u00a0Maria Carla Cardelli from Libera-Associazioni, nomi e numeri contro le mafie<\/a>\u00a0introduced students to the main tools of fundraising, during those three days.<\/p>\n

In particular, they highlighted the importance of the following\u00a0techniques and tools<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

– Individual donors and retention<\/p>\n

– Fundraising and management control Budget<\/p>\n

– Events<\/p>\n

– Database<\/p>\n

A specific focus was dedicated to Canvas Fundraising<\/strong>: an essential management\u00a0tool for anyone willing to persue a career in\u00a0fundraising.<\/p>\n

One of the most significant moments was the speech\u00a0held by of Francesco Macioce and Roberto Salvan ( former\u00a0General Manager at\u00a0UNICEF) on Geo marketing<\/strong>.\u00a0The Territorial Analysis, has, in fact, become one of the key dimension for success<\/strong>, but it has to be undertaken at the best available level of details and with the best information available. Data analysis allows to take more effective and efficient decisions.<\/p>\n

Students in Fundraising Management are now ready for the next workshop, which is scheduled in less than a month, to complete the picture of fundraising techniques and tools.<\/p>\n
