Training, for us, is not an end in itself but a true leverage for social change.<\/p><p>\ud83d\udcda Over the years, we have published groundbreaking books, launched the first European Masters in Nonprofit Management, Fundraising, and Euro-Project Design, and trained more than <strong>2,000 professionals and managers active in over 100 countries<\/strong>. We began designing a &#8216;Development Agency&#8217;, starting from both nonprofit and corporate managerial and entrepreneurial experiences \u2013 an &#8216;amphibious&#8217; anthropology that would prove successful.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-d913789 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"d913789\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5 style=\"text-align: right;\">1997\u00a0<\/h5><h4 style=\"text-align: left;\">Foundation of ASVI<\/h4><p>Agency for the Development of the Nonprofit Sector, in Rome, with the Patronage and support of the City Council Presidency and the Department of Social Policies. The key question we asked ourselves was: &#8216;How can we achieve the maximum social impact?&#8217; The answer was: &#8216;By training professionals and managers capable of effectively managing and innovating nonprofit organizations.&#8217; For us, training has always been a lever of social change, not an end in itself.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fc97c67 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"fc97c67\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5>1998<\/h5><h4>Publication of the book &#8216;Guide to Nonprofit Financing&#8217;: a true &#8216;wow moment&#8217;!<\/h4><p>We discovered that the sector was not &#8216;oppressed by scarcity of resources&#8217; as often claimed \u2013 there were plenty of funds (national, local, and European). What was scarce were managers who did not know how to see and use these resources. We realized that we needed managerial training more than funding strategies.
