Master PMC in Brussels: Workshop on Europroject Management in the heart of Europe
Workshop on Europroject Management standards, programmes, strategies and techniques
From the 14th till the 16th of November, the Workshop of the Master PMC – Project Management for International Cooperation, Euro-Project Management and Local Development was held in Brussels and lead by Bruno Mola, Consultant and trainer in Development Policies, Project Design and Management, Monitoring & Evalutation, at Les Auberges de Jeunesse. The topic of the Workshop is the EUROPROJECT MANAGEMENT, and it is focused on the standard, programmes, strategies and techniques.
After many years of workshops held in Brussels, there is now a small community of former students working in the city.
By the end of the workshop, the students had achieved important learning objectives: the knowledge of the European Programmes 2014-2020 and the different funds, how to build and manage an international partnership and how to write a winning project proposal and its budget.
During their last morning in Brussels, the students visited the European Commission. Brussels surely is the best place for our students to approach the Europroject Management, to provide a base of awareness on some significant cultural premises to the work on the field of the Europroject manager and to get to know the framework of the strategic priorities of the EU.
Following the programme of the three days:
Day 1. Strategy 2010 and main European Programmes 2014-2020;
Partnership Management: how to build a winning strategy;
Finding the proper call for proposal for your project, writing a winning proposal;
Day 2. The concepts. From the Logical Framework to the budget;
Day 3. LAB: the budget for activities and for items. Starting from the Logical Framework, the students were busy in activities for formulating the budget of a European project.
