In fact, on the 28th of January, the Year of the Rooster will start, according to the ancient Chinese calendar, the year will be marked by great enthusiasm and will to do things: characteristics that are certainly not lacking to ASVI Social Change School.

2017, Chinese Year of the Rooster: more passion and more commitment towards the common good
The Rooster is the 10th Chinese zodiac sign. The main characteristics are those that symbolises: ambition, pride, desire of being admired, punctuality, courage, passion, and a well-developed disposition to love and seduce, that is to say its capacity to attract others to itself and to its own cause. Under the effect of those characteristics, during the Chinese year that goes from the 28th of January 2017 until the 15th of February 2018 there will be in the world the increase of enthusiasm, perseverance, self-control of the chaos, that we saw growing in 2016. The relationships between people will be under the mark of great honesty instead of what has happened in 2016, the year of the Monkey, that as it was forecasted, had been characterised by big changes without control and without communitarian ethics.
Everywhere in the world, we will see more passion in life, above all for what concerns our work, we will not hesitate to roll up our sleeves in order to achieve our objectives. “Always higher, always further ahead” is in fact the Rooster’s motto and it will inspire all of us. Thanks to the typical courage of the Rooster, this year we will be less scared of being defeated by difficulties and adversities. However, we should maintain our flexible spirit; in fact, Chinese people, see the rooster as the leader of the farmyard and therefore of the territory, but also as a very conservative leader. We risk then to be inflexible and refuse to change ideas or life strategies when necessary, even if the old way of doing might be inadequate for the future.
For what concerns love and people who surround us, the time will be intense and full of passion. We will show the desire of expressing our love to others, not just to the dearest ones, and the desire of being overwhelmed by their love. For those who got ready in 2016- year of the Monkey- to have a free hearth, during this coming year, they will take great steps towards the research of happiness with different partners, both on the personal plan, and in the work commitments. For those who already chose their path by falling in love with a person or a cause, they will do it with stronger loyalty, showing great tenderness towards the travel companions.
